Ecology Permit Support
← Ecology Work · Manage and Measure
Help with ecology-related approvals for HOA/POA communities and projects.

What it is
Work near streams, wetlands, buffers, and steep slopes can trigger federal, state, local, or HOA/POA review. Support means identifying what applies and preparing a clear submittal.
When it makes sense
Shoreline or stream-side work, land disturbance, restoration projects, and community projects with environmental review.
How we do it
- Screen the site for streams, wetlands, buffers, and slopes.
- Identify which agencies and community committees apply.
- Prepare site descriptions, plans, and monitoring commitments.
- Use our Ecology Permits portal for requests and review.
Standards we follow
- Clean Water Act Sections 401 and 404 where they apply
- NC erosion and sediment control rules and local buffer ordinances
- Local HOA/POA requirements
Good to know
Requirements depend on location and project type, so we confirm what applies before any work begins.
